I don't think it was so much the picture but the comment under the picture that raised eyebrows. That comment was "This is the future that ACLU members want." With all that has been going on over the past few weeks, that comment coupled with the picture seems a little tone-deaf.

I do agree the reaction by some went overboard though, especially when one considers the mission and purpose of the ACLU.
