ACA Thoughts

I read this a few minutes ago and thought it encapsulated my view perfectly. I don't usually post links from other sites and such, but every now and then one hits the nail on the head.

Obviously this individual is writing from a 'right-of-center' viewpoint, as indicated by his back-patting in calling the issues that now exist prior to the implementation. But if you read past those few partisan points, he is exactly right.

Kevin D. Williamson is arguably the most gifted political/cultural writer today. He is no libertarian. In fact on occasion his writing is a screed against libertarianism. Speaking as a libertarian I must admit reading his antilibertarian essays are painful. But always inciteful. I enjoy and trust his opinion so much. He forces me to consider and rethink my premises. He is a gift. This is a remarkable piece of writing.
