Two things:
1). The last sentence in this 2020 article says the city will be spending $50 million over the next decade to provide affordable housing. $50 million should go a long way to alleviating a homeless population of 1500 people. That strikes me as a pretty good policy coming ftom right-wing OKC.
2). Are we to infer from your comment that you believe the homeless crisis in San Francisco need not be addressed by San Franciscans because you don’t think the homeless crisis in OKC is adequately being addressed by OKCitians?
No, that’s probably not a correct inference. You just thought you could deflect and that way you wouldn't have to ponder something you find uncomfortable to ponder.
You didn’t read the link I posted, did you? If you did you would know the article was about more than homelessness. It asks progressives to try and think a little deeper about the ideology they espouse in light of the evidence of its failure in the most progressive city in America. That’s something you really ought to do for your own sake more than anything. It’s something you ought to do seriously, privately and often.
