since when did Democrats start worrying about higher taxes? If anything you liberals should be jumping for joy with Trump raising billions of dollars in what amounts to new taxes. Never mind that consumer prices haven't gone up and the predictions of inflation have been proven false.

So you believe these tariffs have no effect on bringing China to the barganing table or getting American tech companies to relocate manufacturing out China?
For the sake of keeping products as cheap as possible and maximizing corporate profits you want to continue to make China, a country that wants to dominate world markets and will be bad actors when they get that leverage, more powerful.
