Actually it was two questions that contradicted themselves. My bad. So are you saying Chinese systemic human abuse is worse than American systemic racism, or if you were black you’d choose to live in China and face its systemic human abuse rather than America and face its systemic racism?
I ‘m curious why you find the question to be odd. The collectivist left of this country has thoroughly embraced the idea that America is rife with racism by white people as evidenced by your unrelenting defense of things like Cultural Race Theory and the 1619 Project among many other instances of criticism. In the meantime for the most part the collectivist left in this country remains strangely silent about the systemic human abuse by that paragon of collectivist philosophy in action that is China. So it seems to me that it is a perfectly acceptable question to ask. It is fair for one to be confused. Does your silence regarding China’s systemic human abuse say you prefer it? After all you are quite publicly vociferous in your condemnation of America, American whites and their incipient racism that you see behind every tree. It’s not an odd question at all. It’s a perfectly reasonable question to ask. Please feel free to use Google to find the proper leftist answer. Take your time. We’ll wait.

In this thread I’ve neither said directly nor implied I found anything to be weird. I merely asked a question, and responded when David found the question to be odd.
But now that you bring it up, yes, I do find it weird that most of the American left remains mute about the degrading human practices of the socialist Chinese government when it is a type of government they advocate. One can’t help but wonder if that’s the system they want to install in their own country. But that’s a separate issue from the OP.

My teasing you about your Google dependence has never been about your quest for information. My teasing you is about your pretension that your shallow searches (which have brought you shallow talking points) have somehow garnered you deep knowledge about a subject you knew nothing about before your three minute self-tutorial. I would not find your pretension to be so funny, so tease-worthy, if you fessed up to your deceit. What I find funny is your heartfelt desire to pretend you are so knowledgeable, have studied the subject deeply, know more about it than anyone else. Your tactic of showing your “knowledge” by asking a question to which you want everyone to be aware that you know the answer but don’t want to divulge it, keeping it to yourself in a silly attempt to make yourself look intellectually superior.
