My dad.

Moved here from Arkansas and quickly got hooked on the Pokes. Started taking me to games when I was in preschool in the late 60s and I became orange to the bone.

We renewed our season tickets in 2009 and had some of the best memories we've ever made in this new Gundy/Boone/Holder era in BPS.

He was on this message board, but I honestly don't remember what he called himself. His greatest memory as a Poke fan included going to Extreme Camp and getting treated like a million bucks by coach Gundy.

He was a man of faith and when he took his last breath, I believe he immediately found eternal rest in the arms of Jesus. OSU sports won't be nearly as much as it did before.

He wasn't an "important" name in OSU history, but he made OSU important and memorable to me.

If I have my way, he'll be buried in his bright orange OSU polo.

God speed Pops.
