I want to congratulate Mike Holder and give great props to the Sutton's, especially Sean. I have been critical of Holder (never in his love for OSU); although not at the Fred level. So happy Fred is pleased. Bring the munchkins to the games.....start them early.
Holder reached out to the Sutton's. He wanted to know who they felt could best lead their alma mater. All are Cowboys, including Holder. Eddie wanted Gottleib, but really likes Underwood. The meeting got a little frosty. Eddie said you don't fire someone after 2 years. Sean said "dad, you have got to let it go. If I wasn't fired I would not have gotten sober". They will all be at press conference. I hope that wasn't supposed to be a surprise. If so.....my bad, but I'm proud of them all and very excited.
Had Underwood been offered by KSU and OSU at the same time he would choose OSU. He believes it is a much better job. Bleeds purple, but sees OSU as his dream job. KSU fans will probably be upset with him like many here are with Self. Underwood is a small town guy who sees himself as an over achieving underdog and thinks this is the perfect fit.
