To me this incident should not be included in the other “mass shootings” the left want to exploit. This guy was pulled over and then started shooting at cops. If the guy is not pulled over, would he have even fired the gun.
Don’t get me wrong I feel terrible about the people caught in the crossfire. No one should lose a loved one that way, but it happens everyday in Chicago. As pointed out above, how many deaths in Chicago are attributed to wrong place wrong time.

I'm not smart enough to have a solution for either problem outside of I am confident the left doesn't have any solutions that would help.
My point that went completely over your head is your outrage is only reserved for those incidents that you think you can exploit for political reasons. Mass shootings happen every weekend in many cities across this country and you can't be bothered to discuss it.

I've made recommended solutions and they would apply to both sides. There's 2 parts: 1) Quit celebrating the murderers. Suicide by cop has become a thing only because it will actually get their name in the paper. It feeds the narcissism and selfishness someone has to contain to commit a murder in the first place. 2) As a society, quit celebrating the cultures that support this behavior. You can't have every movie be about killing and showing how easy it is to do. You can't have kids listening to what passes as hip hop from the time they are 5 and then be surprised that beating women, gang-banging, slinging, etc... is normal behavior. In the end, no law is going to fix this. It has to be a societal change and I don't see that happening.
