Well, with only the bowl game left for the football team, maybe fans will start following, backing the basketball team a little more.

I just looked at the stats after 5 games and was a little surprised to see 5 in double figures. I don't expect it to last but for the time being:

Carroll is at 16.5/game and I expect that to go up during the season
Averette is at 11.2 in 21 minutes and that may go down.
Smith is at 10.4 in 25 min/game. Hope he can stay the same or go up.
Shine is at 10.0 and leads the team in minutes/game at 28 but those minutes should go down quite a bit with Carroll potentially getting 30 min/game so Shine's scoring will go down.
DZ is also at 10.0/game in only 16 min/game but his minutes should go down with Carroll back and with Dillard coming back. Plus at some point I hope Dawson starts to get some minutes.

Solomon is at his typical 5.5 pts and 6 rebs in 22 min, only 40% from the field. I was hoping for more. I hope those go up but with Sima becoming eligible after the next 4 games his minutes might go down.

Speaking of Sima---I put his name in the subject to get Bluegrass's attention.
Bluegrass, what do you think Sima will average this season for us? Please make a prediction.

His freshman season at St Johns he averaged 5.7 pts and 7.3 rebs, and 2.4 blocks, 48% from the field in 23 minutes. That was two seasons ago so I hope he has improved a lot.
Last year he only played 10 games before transferring and his numbers and minutes were down.

I would be happy with 8 pts and 8 rebs with 2 blocks in 25 min/game.
What should we expect? And if we get less than that will you blame it on the coach?
