I watched 2 of Balmeceda's matches. He did not look good. He may have been injured and took several injury timeouts. He did not look good on his feet and did not take good shots. His strength is in the top position and most of his points were on back points. Most of time when they are called back to the center of the mat he is way behind his opponent. I still do not understand why he is cutting so much weight when he is redshirting. He will really need to develop to become a starter if our new recruits are as good as they are ranked. Of course he is a true freshman and so should improve a lot in the room this year. I did not see any of the wrestlers in the frosh/ soph division.
