I think in five year's time we will look back and wish we had Daton at any weight class. And, I look forward to Plott actually matching Keckeisen's size next season. Notice how easily Keck was able to elevate Plott and Dustin couldn't chest wrap him even once? I am grateful for both of those...
From neutral, You don’t shoot to the bad leg, you make them use it as their stabilizing leg. Now, in a scramble on the mat, it depends. But, his gift is being huge for the weight and having tremendous head-hands defense.
No disrespect at all, but I guess we just agree to disagree on what we choose to watch before Daton’s last match. Vito has looked really tough, I agree. But Daton is really tough too. I’ll match his loyalty with my faith in him even if it means risking heartbreak. Be a nice time to see that...
Everyone who is awarding the title to Vito needs to rewatch the last time we had a 133lb wrestler in Kansas City. I remember watching Ryan Lewis bonus everyone including Cliff Moore to the finals and barely break a sweat. On the other side was Johnny Thompson getting boo’d out of the arena for...
I do agree that Streck makes more attempts than Konner did. However, they definitely did not wrestle comparable schedules. Wish OU and UCO would have continued their duals, could have seen a common opponent.
Overall, even though we had some pretty high seeds to begin with, we outperformed them by 1 spot. ISU cumulatively wrestled equal to their seeds. Trackwrestling has this in their statistics list.
We cumulatively over performed our seasons results (which is the general basis of seeds) at the...
The way he fell, it looks like an AC separation. If it was grade 3/4, he wouldn’t have wrestled at all. So, likely a grade 1/2 which makes the arm really weak and all contact feels like death… but not likely to disable him in a couple weeks.
No inside information, just observational.
3 different high schools in 3 years, didn’t wrestle competitively his senior year. Rumored he was kicked out of Blair so transferred to Bergen Catholic which is a big rival. Didn’t last there either. Unconfirmed but I did hear Anthony was the person who was disciplined the most and created the...
Yes. He will help greatly by knocking out the Iowa State guy Broderson, but then will have to redeem his first match with the loser of Elam/Buchanan. He's beaten Elam once last season (although didn't really threaten him in a loss this season), and I've heard Buchanan is injured so wouldn't...
As they should. The real crime was 9.9 and how strict amateur rules were. Couldn’t work a camp as a freshman, redshirts couldnt ride with the team to opens, etc. Just crazy to me.
Hate that for him. He’s fun to watch and I suspect if he ran into Fix at NCAA’s we would see the best version of Daton too. This is Fix’s revenge tour I wholeheartedly believe.

Hate Trackwrestling personally but this is probably the best we are going to get for now.
Man, sad to hear Espo is gone. I really enjoyed knowing such a loyal Cowboy was in our guys corner! Hope nothing but great things come for him & Brandy.
I refuse to accept that 2002 is not considered “recent times”. Hendricks, Fleenor, Dabbs, Shelton were the nationally ranked Okies that year. Just missed out on Teyon too.
Why not Burroughs? You don’t think he would bring top recruits? His resume is better or equal to John’s, and is probably more in touch with todays recruits than anyone else.
