Most of my thoughts are random. I know. However a thought that crossed my mind was how pissed off we all are at not winning the Big XII during a season that is so far an 11-2 season with a bowl game again ND in the Fiesta Bowl. We beat OU, we beat Tech, we have a nationally elite defense. We wouldn’t even have gone to the CFP with a win if we’re being honest. This is a huge step. No more, “whelp we beat OU bullshit”. The lone reason we are pissed is bc we didn’t win a conference title. Think about it

With the current waiver on the amount of football scholarships a team can have, how long do you think it will to change that waiver to indefinite?

I can see this coming, if the blue bloods want it.

If you dont have the money to pay $50K for a lineman, your gonna be screwed. Texas will take them all.

I have a feeling my love for college football is going to dwindle if it continues to go down this path.

So tonight @IrvingPoke and I talked a lot about my BFF and OSU roommate. When I was driving back to Frisco I remember a crazy thing. I wrestled in HS and I was an average Oklahoma HS wrestler. Well there was a kid that was the Tennessee HS state champion and walked on to OSU to wrestle. He was a cocky dude so I challenged him to a match. We wrestled and I pinned that dude. He immediately quit the team and transferred to the U of Memphis.

Kind of strange.

I feel like we’ve talked about Ollie Gordon a little more than Brown, but Brown is a beast all by himself. He’s the all-time leading rusher in Beggs history. 🤩

So Texas is creating a giant legal slush fund (50k per offensive lineman)for players. Is anyone else going to take about 10 steps back interest wise from college sports? It is going to keep getting crazier and crazier. Eventually the 85 rule will get wiped out in all of this and a school like Oklahoma State will be set way way back. I just absolutely hate how disgusting college athletics is becoming. Any purity of the game is gone. It’s just minor league sports. This is the last probably somewhat pure season. Why the nfl couldn’t have just created a minor league system and left college football out of it is beyond me.
