The Cowgirls are facing Tennessee right now at the Greenwood Tennis Center. After a hard-won doubles point, it's currently 1-1. Tennessee picked up an injury forfeit on Court 3 when Cowgirl sophomore Lucia Peyre went down with a knee injury almost as soon as the match started. She was obviously in a significant amount of pain. Bless her heart, she went in for treatment and tried to make a go of it, but couldn't. Who knows what this means for the singles lineup should we get past Tennessee and into the quarters on Friday. Peyre is not a part of the doubles lineup, and everyone behind Peyre could move up and move Raquel Gonzalez into the #6 singles spot. I hate it for Lucia because she had been playing lights out tennis all year. If the Cowgirls pull this out, they will be play UCLA on Friday at 11:00 in the morning on Friday at the GTC. Single session tickets are available the day of the match for $20.
