Dan, if I may ask, were you a victim of a bris gone wrong?I will defer to your superior knowledge of Christian ethics. And I will add that if that's what Christian ethics calls for then I do not ascribe to Christian ethics. While I have your attention, can you explain to me for what purpose God chose the Israelites? It sounds like they have been given His permission to run roughshod over all other people. Does the Bible explain the reason they were given such power over all other sects, denominations, races, etc.?

The answer is pretty clear.
According to the Christian faith, Jesus was born into a Jewish family and he affirmed that the Jewish people were chosen by God. In the Gospel of Matthew in the New Testament, Jesus refers to himself as the fulfillment of the Jewish prophecies and speaks about the importance of the Jewish scriptures.
Jesus did allow the use of force in self-defense, but only as a last resort and to protect oneself and others. For example, in Luke 22:36, Jesus told his disciples to buy a sword if they didn't already have one.
I attended Catholic school from 1st to 12th grade. Jesus and the bible did not teach allowing yourself to be murdered. You have a right to defend yourself against from the sea to the river global elimination. Jesus came down to earth? My guess is he tells them that Jews are the chosen people of god, and if they did not put down their arms and repent, he would strike them all down. Now that happens, we are in the end of time as we all know it on earth.
You defile the image of Jesus by proclaiming those the pillage, rape, and murder in the name of Hamas and Muhammad represent the perfect image of Jesus.
You don't like my answer.
I disagree.Good.
He was by far the worst pick of Trumps 2024 team IMO.
Of course its about you. You've been given multiple, genuine answers on this thread, and like a 6 year old, you can't accept those answers so have to contort yourself to re-ask it. I find it weird, that as someone who has admitted that you aren't a Christian, that you have no problems lecturing those of us who are Christians on how our teaching should handle this situation. As badly as you want to make the thread about me and what you think I want, the questions before you are what would Jesus do, and what would He want us to do as we watched the butchery of people formed in His likeness are slaughtered.
Terrorists were not formed in Jesus likeness Dan. Retire yer hookah, it's turning yer ability to think logically to mush.As badly as you want to make the thread about me and what you think I want, the questions before you are what would Jesus do, and what would He want us to do as we watched the butchery of people formed in His likeness are slaughtered.
