I will say who cares, Harris still won them both. And in our current electoral system, that is all that matters.

If Trump does better than expected in what the media tells you are very blue states, he will likely do better than expected in ALL states.

That means he is almost a lock to win, then. Perhaps a Reagan 1984 type beat down.

We didn't see any polls in the immediate aftermath of Kamala's disastrous Helene response. Polls finally started again in the last day or two. Those are two different events that you are trying to spin as being the same.

It's just common sense. We all know that polls INCREASE as we get closer to the election. During Kamala's horrific response to Helene, almost all polls STOPPED for MULTIPLE DAYS.

The only major poll that came out was Rasmussen. And that poll saw Trump move 10 points in 48 hours.

It's not lying to tell you an inconvenient truth. Al Gore would agree.

While in Katy, TX we had a home in town and a house on the Colorado river where it dumps into the gulf at Matagorda (settled 1638) We had to deal directly with 5-stoms in Katy & 2 @ Matagorda. Generators & chain saws are your friends. I took our first one rather lightly as I had been around tornado's you know. Ha, what a dumb ba$tid I was. But only once.

Sunburnt made a great point about salt. In the 12-years we had the beach house we had our own water well from a suspect aquifer. I double osmosed it and softened it before it hit the house but to no avail. I had to buy 3-lawn mowers, 1-washer, 2-hot water tanks, 1-dishwasher, 1-jet ski trailer, 3-drive shafts & 4-sets of throttle cables for the skis, leaf blower, edger, marine radios, 2-boat stereos, at least 10- fishing reels, & multiple hand tools.

I washed to yard equipment after each use & flushed the boat motors & jet ski motors every time we used them along with flushing out the jet ski trailer tubing. I kept sea foam in all the gas & gas tanks and never won. I will never own anything that permanently floats or faces salt water again. (There is a great joke that contains most of that sentence but not appropriate here). Stainless steel & bronze are your (expensive) friends.

Kudos to all you out there that live on or near salt water, I bow down to you. It kicked my a$$ good.

Come on Bearcat, don't be silly. Everyone knows Harris easily beat Trump in the debate. Trump was embarrassed and that is why he refuses to debate her again. He is scared to debate her again, because he knows he can't out debate her and another debate won't help him politically.

He is now even refusing to debate on Fox News, which tells you how bad that first debate was for him. It was very bad.


Because he has no chance of winning New York and California. It is a waste of time, just as it would be a waste of time for Harris to spend time in solid red states.

This is politics 101 Bearcat. Common sense.


It doesn't matter who wins the popular vote though. While I would definitely prefer the popular vote mattering, right now in our flawed system, it doesn't. All that matters is the electoral college.

So again, it is a waste of time for Trump to spend times in states he has no chance of winning.

Look, stop being silly. Learn to man up and tell the truth, even about your own candidate. Trump clearly lost the first debate, and now, he is afraid to debate Harris again. It is what it is.
