Add Denver's mayor to the list of Democrats that think they are above the law. If this mayor obstructs law enforcement's enforcement of our immigration laws I hope he is arrested, prosecuted and punished with a nice stint in prison. Your disagreement with a law does not mean you can ignore and obstruct the enforcement of the law.
That is exactly what you need to do. Arrest one mayor and bet the rest decide its not worth the bad press and hassle and change their tune. Don't think you can arret a governor (although would love to see that fat ass pritzker frog marched) unless they actively get involved by doing something other then virtue signaling.
If all else doesn't fall into line quickly, then offer anyone turning in a bonified illegal $5,000 USD. If your someplace that has 10 and you turn in all 10 then you make $50K. Anyone turning in 100 or more not only get rich but also should be made citizens on a fast track path (long as they are a criminal already). The cartels introduced "greed" into the equation to get people across our border, if you offer greed going the other way I think you would see results immediately. For those wondering, if you pay out money for $6 million illegals, that is only $30 billion USD. My guess is that would be a huge savings in the nearterm.
