Didn’t expect that.

Dang Vic loses 6-5. Really good effort by him tho. Got a takedown and might’ve had at least one more but the refs bailed out Abas both times.

I wish I could see Surber vs AJ Ferrari today...Surber is a DOG.

Solid win, thought Sheets had a chance, is what it is, but team is competing, just no room for error.

Disario for Stanford must be a pretty good rider. Fix doesn’t often struggle in bottom like this.
Disario is a good rider when he gets the figire 4 in and applies pressure to the thigh. I'm happy that Daton found a way to get out of it. This might help Dayton against RBC.

Worst part about Ferrari beating Luke would be him screaming & flexing on the coaches & fans.

Surber wrestled AJF admirably in the Orange Black Ranking Match. It was anything but easy for AJF.

John was all over Plott yesterday. He’s coaching him HARD right now.

I noticed that. Plott seems like a kid who can take it. He is in a rut right now and has the talent to be a high end placer. Need to light a fire!

Hell of a response by Surber after last weeks performance.

What an improvement over the past month. Everyone wrestling is close or beyond expectations, but Plott and I think he will come around.
Nice to see! Lots of fire all around.

I saw that! Not that I've done any analysis but it seems like Plott does better at away duals. Probably puts a lot of extra pressure on himself to perform at home. So at NCAAs, nobody cheer for him ok? :)

Carter wrestled really aggressive the entire match. He seems to be in a new frame of mind.
Victor will probably turn a corner eventually. He's got everything you want in a freshman - drive, gas tank, competitive spirit, massive legs lol.
G is a salty old dog on the mat. Great to see. He can cause problems for almost anybody.
Wyatt, man, win or lose the guy is a Cowboy wrestler. He goes toe to toe with national champions. He may never put it all together at the right time but when he wrestles hard it's a real joy to watch.
Plott needs to find a way to zen out his mind.
Wittlake is putting it on guys like the old days.
Surber is a beast out there. A few techniques he needs to figure out how to defend against still, but dang he is wrestling well.
Didn't watch Doucet this weekend.

Looks like Plott had some "cupping" therapy done on his shoulder between the SDSU dual and Stanford dual. I wonder if his shoulder has been causing him some issues lately during this slump of his.
