The rich keep getting richer.
While it's no surprise that Texas (16), California (14), and Florida (13) lead the way with the amount of players in the Top 100 (according to 24/7), it's kinda crazy that Georgia (15, including three in the top 10) and Alabama (8, including five in the top 31) are the equal of those states or have more in the Top 100. That's 2/3 of the Top 100 from just five states. By the way, the state of Oklahoma doesn't have any recruits in the Top 100.
As far as teams ranked in MaxPrep's Preseason Top 25, Florida has six teams in the rankings, Georgia has four in the Top 25, California has four (including perennial power Santa Ana Mater Dei at No. 1), and Texas has three (Duncanville #8, Galena Park North Shore #13, and Desoto #17). That's 17 of the top 25 teams from four states.
