What, the 100' on the edge of Mexico/USA border ? I'm sure they've been offered far more than "market value" and WTF can't a Republic construct a big-ass fence to protect it's sovereignty ? Sometimes the good of the many supersede the right of the few (or the ones)

There's a process for this, and yes it does include fair compensation of real value of the land. Dont know what CUP thinks is the big deal on this. Utilities, state, county, and city governments use this process all the time. And it starts with an attempt to reach an amicable conclusion.
